Today's post will be short and sweet because we need to get some shut eye before our long trek back tomorrow! After enjoying a delicious hot breakfast at our hotel, we ventured out to the Teatro Colon, the impressive opera house with world-renowned architecture and acoustics. We then hopped on the "hop on, hop off" bus to begin exploring Buenos Aires. We stopped in San Telmo to explore the various flea markets, artisan shops, and antique shops before heading to La Boca, where we saw the Boca futbol stadium and wandered the colorful streets filled with tango dancers and artists. We had a quick lunch in La Boca before heading back on the bus to explore a few more sites. Tired and sweaty, we made a pitstop at our hotel before heading to dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and then enjoyed the INCREDIBLE performance "Fuerza Bruta." There are simply no words for how different and impressive this show was; from cirque de soleil-esque acrobatics to stomp-esque percussion to rain to confetti to swimmers in the sky...you'll just have to check it out yourself!
